Arkansas has had ~9500 COVID deaths, or 3100 deaths/million. If we were a country, we’d be in the running for the top ten countries in the world for COVID deaths. Let’s be honest about how we are doing . . . Really badly. . . . Vax, boost, mask, avoid indoor gatherings. . pic.twitter.com/no5Np8UHVv

His comment has drawn the usual harrumphing from resisters. Much favored is the high survival rate among those who become infected (less than 2 percent in Arkansas). Cold comfort to Arkansas’s 9,510 dead (at least) or those with long COVID or the debilitating conditions that can accompany the disease or treatment.
Get the shots. Wear a mask. Avoid crowds indoors. The harm of these things?
